As you realize the importance of a good night sleep, it is crucial to find natural ways to help promote a good sleep. I have discovered a number of essential oils that are excellent for promoting relaxation and normal sleep. I have struggled with sleep issues for years due to having Multiple Sclerosis. I go through periods where I cannot relax and falling asleep is very difficult. As I learned about the positive effects of sleep I began searching for possible solution. I tried prescription medication and over the counter medications; however, I often experienced side effects ranging from delusions to waking up with a foggy brain. Then I discovered essential oils. I have been using Lavender and Cedarwood oils to help in promoting a good night’s sleep. Lavender helps to promote normal sleep through helping individuals feel more relaxed and calm. Cedarwood has a great soothing and calming effect on the mind. It has properties that help relieve tension and anxiety. This helps in promoting healthy, restorative, and uninterrupted sleep. As I have begun using these essentials oils, I have seen an improvement in my mood and stress level due to an improvement in my sleeping patterns. Having a restful sleep has given me a sense of peace and calming in my life.
